When a gift must speak without words, the roses carry the full weight of the message. But "exclusive" is the most overused word in luxury floristry — so it is worth being precise about what it means at OnlyRoses: roses grown for us at high altitude in Ecuador, two signature collections you will not find anywhere else, and every arrangement finished by hand in our Knightsbridge boutique. This is a tour of those collections — the pieces our clients return to, and how to choose between them.
If you want the technical benchmarks first — stem length, petal count, what separates a luxury rose from an expensive one — our guide to luxury rose arrangements covers them in depth. Here, the focus is the collections themselves.
Classic Roses®: the fresh collection
Our Classic Roses® are fresh-cut Ecuadorian blooms at their most opulent — large heads, deep colour, stems up to 65cm, lasting up to two weeks with care. The collection runs from understated to unforgettable:
- The Grand Bouquet — the signature statement: from 101 hand-tied stems in a single colour or considered mix, with larger compositions to 200 stems and beyond. This is the arrangement for proposals, milestones and gestures designed to be impossible to ignore.
- Classic Rose Coliseum — a grand vase composition for entrance halls and dining tables; architecture in rose form.
- Classic Rose Lady Jane — sculptural elegance in a footed vase; the piece for recipients with a designer's eye.
- The Classic Rose Boutique — the newest addition: a seamless cushion of blooms in the signature square box, in White, Pink Mix and Red. Read the launch story.
- The Only Bouquet — the refined everyday luxury: a hand-tied bouquet that makes an ordinary Tuesday feel considered.
- Classic Rose Stems — long stems for your own vase, in every colour we grow.
Infinite Roses®: the preserved collection
Our Infinite Roses® are the collection we are best known for: real Ecuadorian roses, preserved at peak bloom to keep their colour, softness and form for one to three years — up to five in ideal conditions — without a drop of water. They turn a flower into an object:
- Infinite Rose Silver Punch Bowl — the centrepiece that anchors a dining table for years rather than a weekend.
- Lantern Dome and Lantern Jewel — preserved blooms displayed under glass and within brass; the closest a rose comes to sculpture.
- Infinite Rose Gem — five perfect roses under a glass dome; the considered gift for desks and dressing tables.
- The Infinite Statement Rose — a single extraordinary bloom, when restraint says more than abundance.
For corporate gifting, frequent travellers and interiors, preserved is almost always the answer: nothing to maintain, nothing to wilt, and the gift is still present years later. Our guides to what preserved roses are and preserved vs fresh cover the choice in full.
Choosing within the collections
Three questions narrow the field quickly:
- Should it last days or years? The moment itself — fresh Classic Roses®. A lasting presence — Infinite Roses®.
- Statement or subtlety? Scale communicates unmistakably: the Grand Bouquet announces. A Gem or a Statement Rose speaks quietly and precisely.
- What does the colour say? Deep red for passion and formality; blush and champagne for romance with restraint; white for purity and sophistication. Browse roses by colour, or let our colour guide decode the message — and commit to the choice rather than hedging with an unintentional mix.
For occasions, the roses by occasion collections map the range to the moment — from anniversaries to weddings.
Beyond the collections: bespoke
The most exclusive piece is the one that exists only once. Our bespoke service designs colour, scale, vessel and composition to order — from a single commissioned arrangement to installations for residences and events — built by hand in Knightsbridge and delivered across London, same day in Knightsbridge and surrounding neighbourhoods. (At the largest scale, that has included building the Oscars stage with 40,000 Infinite Roses.)
What stays with the recipient is rarely the bloom count alone — it is the whole experience: the sourcing, the presentation, the timing, the sense that every detail was chosen. That is what exclusivity actually means, and it is the standard every collection above is built to.
